Trying to conceive after depo

Hi everyone!! Could anyone share their stories about trying to conceive after stopping the depo injection? I was on it for just over a year and stopped it just over 3 months ago. Going to start trying for a baby but I don't think it will happen any time soon 😔😔

I had 1 injection last year and it took 15 months for my period to return and then I had a chemical. My cycles are long at around 40 days at the min. Its been a hard slog but everyone is different!! It is quite rare for it to take as long as I did and I am a little overweight which probably didn't help! X

My last injection was September 2018 and I’ve been ttc since March. Unfortunately I’ve had nothing but problems and my periods still haven’t fully returned even with provera prescribed awaiting appointment with fertility clinic now due to lack of periods - hope you have better luck! X

I was on the injection for 7 years! I had my last injection January 2016, started TTC in March 2016 but periods didn't return until August 2016. Got our BFP Febuary 2017 and our little girl was born in the October. Decided not to go back on the depo injection as I felt better in myself off it and have since realised the negative effects it was having on me! Good Luck, baby dust!

I had my last injection aug 2017, periods didnt properly start until nov 18 and still ttc#1

We went to the drs in july 19 as I thought it was coming up to 2yrs, she advised she wasnt worried as the depo takes the longest, and calculated it from when I had my first period

She did refer us for tests as it's really getting me down and every month I have a period I'm an emotional wreck!!

we have had tests my blood test came back fine, now just waiting on partners sperm test
