I can see it! It definitely looks positive. Congrats! How many DPO are you?

NelliePig · 17/10/2019 17:56

Due on today! I've taken another test that is exactly the same this evening and will test first thing tomorrow also to see if the line is darker, so definitely seems like I am!! When did you make your appointments with the GP? Xx

@NelliePig oooh got my fingers crossed for you!! Update us tomorrow!
I've got my GP appointment on Monday, but I had to book mine asap as I take levothyroxin so need to increase my medication potentially

NelliePig · 17/10/2019 19:07

Ahh okay, so maybe I should wait? Or do their tests pick it up earlier x

@NelliePig I think they just use the little paper ones but not sure how sensitive they are!

GaaaaarlicBread · 17/10/2019 19:34

Huge congrats! This has made me smile . I’m not due til next week but really hoping I get my BFP ! So happy for you x

ShowOfHands · 17/10/2019 19:35

GPs usually don't test for pregnancy. In fact, in many areas you don't see the GP at all.

NelliePig · 17/10/2019 20:43

@Itsemily thankyou :)!!

@ShowOfHands if I dont see my GP how do I get a midwife? X

OP posts:
ShowOfHands · 17/10/2019 20:53

Here you phone the surgery and just ask for a booking in appointment with the midwife, other places you can self refer online and in some places you do see the GP but it's not too common anymore and they are unlikely to do a test even if you do. Just ask at the surgery what you need to do next. You will need to see a midwife for the first time between 8 and 12 weeks so you have time.

NelliePig · 18/10/2019 02:50

@ShowOfHands ahh okay, I'll pop into the surgery and ask x
