Hi all, we have begun fertility investigations after ttc for 11 months and suffering a miscarriage in February.
I had a positive progesterone result at 21 days but it seems quite high (53.2) could this indicate pregnancy or does it not matter how high it goes unless you get a BFP when AF is due??

What’s the normal range (will printed near your result on the sheet) and what units of measurement did they use?

Mine were around that and it wasn’t high within the normal range.

Ah ok. I didn’t get a normal range on the results as I had to have them done privately as I couldn’t get to the blood clinic that day. All the results said was the number and that it indicated ovulation. When I’ve googled it though it falls in the bracket of being in first trimester??

Mine were 55 mnol/L. I wasn’t pregnant that cycle.
Anything above 30 shows ov though I’ve read they prefer above 60 to maintain pregnancy but I can’t find w reference for that.

Thanks so much for your response! I think mine is probably the same as yours. Just clinging on to anything really in the hope for positive news...
Tough journey this isn’t it :(

When I started my 50mg of clomid my first day 21 reading was, at 7, 100mg it was 11 :( then on 150mg it was 70 :) I didn't get pregnant on that cycle but the next month I had a scan and my egg was ready to be released, they were that confident i would ovulate, they didn't book me in for day 21 bloods, I got pregnant on this cycle . It's funny now as I look at my 2 yr old, as I saw him on a scan as an egg :)

That’s a lovely story @Lorddenning1 Smile
