Late period - negative test

Has anyone done an early detection pregnancy test (10mIU) the day period was due and got a negative then gone onto have a positive?

It wasn't an early detection test, but my DD didn't show up on a pregnancy test until I was 4 days late.

I did the test yesterday when i was due on so i am going to wait till tomorrow morning and do another and hopefully it will be positive or at least i come on so i can start my next cycle

Congratulations and thank you for sharing I really needed to hear a positive story like this today. AF due yesterday no signs but a neg test yesterday hoping to wait a few days and test again now

Newbie here today!

My period is 9 days late, never this late! All year it's been CD28-30, Sept was CD32 and Oct is currently CD40.

All negative tests so far, but I've had symptoms and I'm really hoping it's a late ovulation cycle!

Hi all I'm in the same boat, been ttc for 17 months but partner was told in the past he has slow swimmers, every month is 26-31 cd but currently on cd35 pregnancy symptoms but only bfn so far including a frer today! I'm trying hard to stop myself testing constantly and trying not to get hopes up! Never this late x
