Positive after time??

Help! TTC and period is due in 5 days. I took a Tesco test yesterday morning and showed negative so put just put in cupboard. Went to clear the cupboard last night and looked at it and it had the faintest positive. Doesn’t look to me like an evap line as is blue and thick (it’s easier to see irl). I took a test today (pic with chain behind it) and look bfn again. What’re you thinking? I’m really hoping it’s just that I have such a small about of hcg that it didn’t pick up straight away. What are your experiences before I get my hopes up? :(

I’m sorry I don’t see anything but if you af is 5 days away I doubt the Tesco one would pick it up? Grab a more sensitive one 😊 Good Luck x

@Sunflower2019 if you turn your phone brightness completely up do you see it? It’s more prominent in real life but because it was after the 10 mins I’m not sure if that’s makes it a dud test :( will test again in a few days 🤞🏻 X

I can see it but I don't trust blue dye tests. I've had proper lines even when not pregnant.

I do see it but tesco and Sainsbury’s tests are notorious for evaps after the time limit, but that’s why there is a time limit on them (speaking from experience here, spent many an hour looking at thick blue lines that appeared after the time limit, getting my hopes up and I never was pregnant). Sorry, don’t get your hopes up just yet, try a pink dye test again in a few days x
