Irregular cycle advice for those TTC

Hi everyone, I’ve been a long time lurker and occasional poster on here but have been studying this board super closely for the last 6 months TTC #2. Just wanted to share something that has helped me, I think, to get my BFP today.

My periods have always been super irregular, everything from 40-100 days. Recently, since ttc again, they’ve been around 50 days. I figured this isn’t normal and am a big believer in micronutrients so I got ‘The Period Repair Manual’ by Lara Briden out of the library. I’m a veggie and she recommends magnesium, zinc and iodine for all veggies. There was also some info on vitex agnus castus so I tried that.

This month my cycle was 33 days and I got my BFP. I really think giving my body the micronutrients it was lacking really helped. I would recommend reading this book if you have irregular periods and want to see if you can regulate your cycle to help you conceive.

Sorry for the novel! Hope this helps someone!

@rocco87 did you end up trying the vitex?
