Drinking 6dpo

I'm due to go to friends tonight for drinks and food, I'm 6dpo so this should be fine shouldn't it?

Logically I know that even if an egg has been fertilised, it's probably not implanted and even if it had, there's no placenta so it shouldn't make a difference. I think I'm just looking for the green light....bloody craziness of ttc.

Following as I'm going to be in the same boat next week..

I'm inclined to think that one glass of wine should be fine but getting hammered is a bad idea, but would be interested to hear from a physiological pov.

At this point there is no placenta if you are pregnant so my understanding is that alcohol would not effect an embryo as it would not have developed into one yet.

I only ever stopped drinking when that pregnancy test turned positive. I've got 3 healthy babies. I only found out I was pregnant at 7 weeks with number 2!
