Too soon after miscarriage?

I miscarried on 20 August, had the D&C on 21st August, period came on 26 September and even tho it's only been 1 cycle, we decided to start trying again. Is this ok? Has anyone else not waited 2 cycles and started trying quite soon after miscarriage? We are just keen to start trying

Thanks ! No medical reasons no. I had a miscarriage before and waited 2 cycles but this time now I'm older I just want to get cracking

I had a miscarriage in March, period finally came in April and got pregnant after that.
Then that one ended is miscarriage too. I didn't get a period again after that one before I got pregnant again - that time we wasn't trying, we were careless on a special occasion one time and it just happened, currently 20 weeks pregnant with a little boy.
Apparently you're most fertile after a miscarriage so can happen easily for some people and I believe a lot of people can scare you, try to control you by saying you should wait 6 months, but really, it's your choice - my hospital just said wait until you have a period to ensure everything is ready again, but that didn't help me the first time after miscarriage and I apparently didn't need it after the second.

I had one period between my miscarriage and conceiving again. It took 9 months of trying for my first pregnancy, so I do believe that fertility potentially improves after a miscarriage. The EPU Dr told me I only needed to wait for one period, and that was mostly for dating purposes and as long as I was emotionally and physically recovered it was fine to try again.
