False positive

Hi
Hoping someone can help as I’m driving myself mad! Took an Asda pregnancy today and it was positive so I bought another one and a clear blue. Both came up negative.
I’ve looked online and read that Asda have really bad reviews on their tests giving false positives. So confused! I always thought a positive was a positive? It came up pretty much straight away 🤷‍♀️. Anyone else had similar and not been?x

I've had this for the past week. All my cheapies were throwing out faint lines. Like blink and you would miss them faint. Clear blue was negative and Asda/wilko were also negative.
I have had the worst achy boobs in a long time but last week I thought I've had enough. Everyone of the tests got threw in the bin.
Over the past 2 days I've hardly had an appetite and my boobs feel like they should be in the solar system they are that heavy and sore. So this morning I took ANOTHER test. This was my answer 🙄 I wish I never done it now 😂 how confusing.

Ah @lolalolly it’s so frustrating isn’t it! When I fell pregnant with my daughter, I knew I was pregnant but the tests were negative. They didn’t show up until a week after. I think I got one faint line like yours and must have done a thousand tests!! Hopefully that’s the case for you as I definitely see something there.
This time I haven’t been ttc. I haven’t been the best at taking my pill and my last period was extremely light. Just thought I’m not definitely not but I’ll take one just in case as been getting this unusual feeling in my tummy, before I go docs about it. Now I’m even more confused!

Although I had 1 day of heavy bleeding 3 days late of my usual cycle. A few days spotting and thats it. I'd be like 8 weeks pregnant now but only having the faintest of lines.

Just confused and fed up! :(
