False positives?

Three days ago I thought I got my fist bfp with Boots early pregnancy tests. I bought a 2 pack. First one I did was in the morning, it was soooo faint, but darkened so it was clear after a few hours. I decided, because of that, to do the other test when I'd finished work in the evening. It was positive. The day after I did one negative test in the morning with the FRER tests. Today I decided to get the Boots tests again to see what happened. Took one test this morning, and yet again - sooo faint. Then I decided to take my last test tonight as I've decided to go to the doctor tomorrow and look it up. This test came out positive.

Anyone who's been using the Boots early pregnancy tests? What was your experience with them? I feel so confused.

Hi OP,

We're just giving this one a bump for you. Flowers

Maybe your urine has the highest concentration of hcg in the evening instead of the morning. Do a frer in the afternoon/ after work, basically the time you got positives before.

I don't know, I'm wondering the same thing. I fainted in the office on Monday and was sent to GP. GP suggested a pregnancy test.
I had some cheap dipstick ones at home and got two faintish positives over two days with first morning urine. One stronger line than the other but neither as dark as the control line.
I also tried a FRER to confirm this morning but that showed absolutely nothing.
Hard to really know isn't it. My period is now a few days late so I guess I'll just wait and see if it shows up and test again if not.
