Quick question

Before I ask, I'm aware it seems like a bloody ridiculous question....even more so that I'm 32 and not an idiot (I promise!) and do know how biology works.
But. We've been ttc for nearly 3 years and are actually in the middle of fertility tests. However when my husband "finishes", a lot comes out almost straight away. So my question is, does this hinder our chances??

I'm aware that ejaculate is mostly fluid blah blah blah and I'm genuinely embarrassed to be asking this because I'm not 16. But I don't feel comfortable asking anyone in real life and Google sends up very mixed results.

I think it depends on the time of the month, coz I find that around ovulation time I have a vagina like a damn vortex....... everything goes in, never to be seen again, and other times of the month it (the jizz) will go in and come out like a tsunami 5 mins later.
Hope this kinda helps in some way x

I close my legs quick, put a pillow under my bum, legs up and stay like that for at least 10 mins to try and keep it all in! Who said romance is dead! 😂

I only ask because yesterday and today were positive opk but we'd been staying with family yesterday and DH didn't want to dtd as we were in a min open plan lounge/kitchen on a pull out bed so I understand that. Would awkward if someone came through for a drink! So we did it today, but a lot came out. Whereas on Thursday when we dtd it stayed in ages!

I was hoping we hadn't missed the window because that's all we've managed to dtd this cycle so far....

A lot of the time though I get the tsunami!

Apparently even if some comes out, it doesn't really matter as most of the Sperm usually stay partying in the vortex 😂😂

@Pinkstars2501 thanks for asking this question! I thought it was me going crazy! sometimes it feels as if nothing has come out, and others it just runs out! And others it comes out the next day. I never even considered it can be different times in our cycle.

@MrsN2121 I do the exact same 🤣 so sexy! Sometimes I go one step further and turn around and put my legs up on the headboard!
