I am a mum to girls age 12 and 10, I have had the implant in since my youngest was born, and should add I got pregnant with my eldest while on the pill and again 8 months after she was born when the doctor insisted I had been taking it wrong which sadly ended in miscarriage. my partner split up with me in August and for the last 4 weeks I’ve had all kinds of crazy pregnancy symptoms, sickness which has eased now, tiredness, bigger boobs with noticeable veins, Montgomery glands and the smell of anyone’s food or perfume is making me really feel sick I’ve taken 4 tests, 2 of which were clear blue digital ones all came back negative. I had very strong positives with both my girls from 4 weeks so I’m looking for some advice really, I’ve been reading about the hook effect but it seems so rare, so I’m wondering is it possible I’m imaging my symptoms, has anyone else been in a similar position?
I have a telephone appointment with my GP on Wednesday and am going to ask for a blood test but would like to hear anyone else’s experience.
