Hi
I found out on the 6th September that the baby had stopped growing around 8 weeks after previously seeing a heartbeat at 6 weeks.

I had a d and c at 11 weeks, did a pregnancy test a couple of weeks after on the 23rd and it was negative. ( the clear blue in the photos) I also did a strip test that measures 10ml of hcg. Also negative.

I have dtd a few times since as we want to ttc again.
This morning I have had this positive on a first response, (attached) and unsure whether this is left over hormones or a new pregnancy.
Unsure whether to buy another clear blue and see if that's still negative just for comparison to the test I did on the 23rd.

Has anyone any advice? The mmc was my first pregnancy so unsure of the likelihood of a pregnancy so soon after my miscarriage.

Thanks

It could be a new pregnancy if you tested negative after the d and c. I was told to do a pregnancy test 3 weeks afterwards, I did and it was still slightly positive so I was then told to take another few days later, I did and it was negative. Maybe try another test in 48hrs as HCG doubles or maybe contact your epau and ask for blood test which will monitor if the HCG is going up. It's horrible to go through I've had 3 missed miscarriages with a little boy in between and am trying again now. Wishing you lots of luck. X

Possibly a new pregnancy if you’ve tested negative this is what happened to me and I’m now 17 weeks. Only way to know for sure is to test again and see if there is any progression. Your GP will also do repeat bloods to confirm. Good luck x

Thank you both very much for your advice.

I will leave it 48 hours and then test again

If you tested negative and two weeks later have a positive, I'd say that's a new pregnancy. Congratulations.
