Hi all,

First cycle TTC, 2 days late for AF and did this first wee of the day this morning it’s a first response rapid detection. It was negative straight away but half an hour later it looks like the picture attached. Is that a positive or an evap line?!? Help needed. Thank you!!

Oooh looks possible!

@abbiejones5 I've had ones like that when I've taken them apart and wasn't pregnant. Taken them apart isn't recommended I would say evap line I'm afraid

Argh that's a tricky one..it looks positive to me..especially if you're 2 days late! Half an hour doesn't seem long enough for an evap line..
Any chance of going out to buy a digital test?

Those first response tests normally come up with a really strong line by the time your period is due, and given it was negative within the time frame you're supposed to read it and you had to take it apart to see anything, if takd it as negative.

It looks positive to me... I thought Evap lines are more colourless but this looks pink
I'd do another just to be sure or a digital x

It's invalid once you take it apart - if you're pregnant FRER will come up in less than 10 mins

Evaps appear when air gets on the test strip when they are taken apart
Sorry OP
