Half a squinter line?

Got this tonight, AF due today but hasn’t arrived yet. It’s darker at the bottom than the top and a squinter. I’m 40 in a month and have been TTC no2 forever. I’ve got another test I’ll be doing tomorrow morning but would really like some opinions now as I’m going out of my mind. Does this look good or like a faulty test as it’s darker on one end of the line?

Ooh that's a tough one OP. I think it looks positive but also flooded so I'm not sure I'd trust it. Fingers crossed for you.

@peachgreen my gut is telling me not to trust it, I haven’t even said anything to DH yet as I want to be sure. It’s going to be a long night! Patience is a virtue I don’t possess.

Morning ladies, I have another squinter this morning, barely visible and thin (not the same thickness as the control line so I’m off to get another test. These two have been co op cheapies. It did come up within the time frame and is pink but I’m still not sure about it.

Another tough one! It looks positive but again, a bit flooded and like you say, thin. Definitely try another test. Are you doing dip tests? Much less likely to be flooded.

@peachgreen yes I am doing dip tests for exactly that reason!

Good luck I think them tests are very promising. I would get a First response one. Also I found out I was pregnant with an OPK. I knew I definitely wasn't ovulating so used it and it was positive so knew I was pregnant

@motherone I have ordered a two pack of FRERs from amazon and they will arrive tomorrow. No sign of AF still. No OPKs handy.

I’ve just had a google and coop tests are apparently dreadful for giving false positives so that a bit of a blow

Well my frers arrived and I’ve done one now and it was a stark white BFN. I’m never ever buying coop tests again. Still not AF though but I’m about 16/17 dpo so I think I must just be late. I’m sure a frer would have picked it up by now. Thank you for all your lovely messages.

Those coop tests must be absolutely shit. If you can be bothered, you could even complain about them. Absolutely unacceptable to be that unreliable.

The only explanation that get the coop tests off the hook was if it was a chemical? I think the frer would have shown something though as they’re super sensitive?

It is crap either way and yes a real rollercoaster. Still no AF though just to add insult to injury

I had a chemical in June and did a bunch of blue dye and pink dye tests over about 10 days. The frer were at least as sensitive as the rest if not the most sensitive. So for what it's worth your situation doesn't sound like a chemical to me.

Af arrived this morning so that’s me done this cycle. Onwards to the next one.
