Hi everyone

This is a really random question- but I was wondering if any of you ladies managed to conceive after your partner had had an illness that caused a fever?
I know that febrile illness can cause a low sperm count for up to 3-6 months - my poor husband caught some sort of virus on our honeymoon and ended up with a 5 day fever on and off.
We have literally just started trying for a baby this week (haha great timing I know)... just wondering if there were any success stories out there? :)

Low sperm count doesn't mean no sperm so there's always hope Smile just don't put pressure on anything (I'd say this to anyone ttc though). Just call it 'not preventing pregnancy' and enjoy getting jiggy for a while. Even if it takes a few months if he does have a lower sperm count for a couple of months, it only takes 1 to get through! Good luck!
