Af has just arrived ok my 10th cycle and I’m feeling quite down about it.
I use OPKs and get a positive cd 16 every month, we have lots of sex and we both take vitamins.
We have conceived before within 3 months and assumed this time would be quick too but I guess it’s not!
Has anyone got any success stories? Suggestions? Or should I book in for checks (which makes me sad but I guess will give me peace of mind). Sorry for rambling!

As silly as it seems too much sex can impact too, are you reducing before u ovulate and then every two days ? X

Thanks @kellyw1989 Yeah, every 2nd day until I get a positive OPK and then every day for a few days. It’s just so frustrating and starting to serious worry me (which I know isn’t helping)! Are you ttc? Hope all is going well. X

We're on cycle 10, too. My gynaecologist told me we had to be unsuccessful naturally for a year first, so I know we still have two more months to go before she'll intervene. DS took four years and medical intervention to conceive. It's highly unlikely that I'll conceive naturally but she wants us to have a go. Oh well...Grin Hoping to be a bit quicker this time round. Sometimes, it just takes time. If you do get to the 12 months, though, I'd go and get checked out by your doctor. Fingers crossed for you.

I’m sorry to hear you are in the same position @Fuzzyspringroll. I hope this isn’t too personal but how long were you ttc for your first before you realised you would need help? Hopefully the next two months bring some luck!

I think it was two years before the GP considered the idea that we might need some help. Had several test done through the GP and put on clomid (which I stopped after two rounds because it messed with my ability to think clearly and made me really weepy...not good in my job). Then had trouble getting an appointment at the fertility clinic because they were so busy. It wasn't until the second ectopic and the emergency operation that I got seen there. GP and consultant at the hospital wrote them a letter to get moving and get me seen.

2 years? Wow, that seems a long time. I’m so sorry you had to go through all that. I hope this time round is easier! I’m going to take a few months off, we are heading away on a big trip and I want to feel relaxed.
