Tracking fertile window with ovulation tests and ovulation calculator

I'm using clear blue ovulation tests to track ovulation and today is the second day of testing yesterday was low and today I got high and I think tomorrow will go to peak this has happened the last couple of cycles and alongside the ovulation tests I put the cycle information into the NHS ovulation calculator and it's predicted the fertile window as 2nd October to the 7th, but I had a period on the 4th September for 3 days then had what I think may have been another period on 27th September which only seemed to last for 2 days then stopped and then on Monday had a very small amount of light brown spotting but just the one time and nothing. I've tested for pregnancy and negative. Just don't know what to go by in terms of tracking ovulation with having what seems to be two periods in one month. Sorry for the long post, just really confused!
