Period Due today; chances of a chemical pregnancy??

I refuse to believe that I'm unlucky enough to have 3 miscarriages in a row. I had a CP months ago and it came around the time of my period, and my last cycle I miscarried 6 days after my period due date (though they didn't rule that as a chemical.)
I've been getting positives on and off on one step (though I've noticed every other day it's not as strong.)
My period is due today and I'm having some mild cramps, but I've had them on and off the past few weeks tbh. What are the chances that I will miscarry again?

I really don't want to get my hopes up but it's hard not to.

I don't know what your chances are, but I'm hoping you aren't that unlucky. I have been and its shit. Sending you baby dust.

Sorry you're going through this, but you know that no one here can really give you any idea of your chances of this being a chemical pregnancy...

I had three miscarriages before going on to have a successful pregnancy. My pregnancies failed at 5 weeks, 11 weeks and 4 weeks so I count the two early losses as chemicals. I turned out to have a blood clotting issue which was preventing pregnancies from continuing.

You can only keep testing. On your period due date I would expect a clear line on a good quality test (like a First Response or the own brand supermarket/Superdrug tests that are 'early' tests). On the One Step tests my lines were barely visible on the day my period was due.

I see a line, but personally I find these tests so unreliable. (Doesn’t stop be using them though!)
Here is mine from last cycle - wasn’t pregnant.
Have you taken an FRER?

I read that 1 in 125 women (only 0.8%) miscarry three times, so statistically hopefully you will be ok. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

@whyhaveidonethis yes it's really shit! Honestly, I hate the entire process haha.

@INeedNeeShoes I'm not a fan of first response. I've had too many bad experiences with them to trust them. I did take a clear blue yesterday and there was a faint line. I'm hoping to test again tomorrow with it. Hopefully it'll be stronger and more obvious. I hate this uncertainty ugh

@ItsAlwaysSunnyInPhiladelphia

I'm not a fan of first response. They've given me a lot of indents in the past. But I have tried the one step with water and tea and neither of those produce a second line so I'm hoping they're valid. I took a clear blue yesterday, which is a 25mIU sensitivity compared to the 10mIU for one step, and there was a faint line. I'll test again with it tomorrow.

@Samoaurus I'm hoping that the odds are in my favour then! Thankyou x
