BFP or Evap line HELP PLEASE!!!

So it's a tricky one please bear with.

Had a miscarriage on 28/08 at 10 weeks pregnant, needed medical management and was told to take a test 3 weeks later (18/09) to check there was no retained product. Did that and all was fine and had it backed up by the hospital as had an unrelated surgery 2 weeks ago and they tested my blood to double check. I'm telling you this because we had sex twice, 13/09 and 16/09 both unprotected, we were trying to be careful but these things happen... I still haven't had my cycles back and then 2 nights ago we were sat watching a film and I blurted out to my OH "I need to take a pregnancy test" I hadn't even thought in my brain for a second about being pregnant so I'm baffled why I said it. Anyway he did and there was nothing. But I just don't feel right.. so I have kept testing and then this morning I got a line, very faint, came up within the time limit but I can't quite tell if it's a line line or an evap line. I hope I'm not pregnant as it will mean we have to postpone our wedding and I really do not want to do that. We had a plan to have a baby after the wedding. I don't even have any idea of where I am in my cycle or anything.

I'm picture: top two tests were two nights ago, middle two were yesterday and bottom this morning. One on its own was this morning. Thanks

It definitely looks like a line that's getting darker - you'll need to wait a few days and then do a frer or clear blue in a week.
When's the wedding? It's so hard planning around ttc!

@Wanderer1 the wedding is November 2020 but it's on a cruise ship and the minimum age is 7months for a baby to be allowed on. Looked at the test again now and the line has gone thin and almost grey so taking it as evap line? All the other ones are stark white though so I'm not sure what's going on. Don't feel the same as last time I was pregnant but just don't feel right having a few twinges in lower abdomen as well so I really don't know. I think I have a gut feeling but maybe it's because of the miscarriage my body is all over the place

Though I'm confused because you said you're 'being careful' but had unprotected sex twice. And wouldn't you have had to rearrange your wedding if your last pregnancy had continued?

Mmm there's defo a line but it does look very grey. I'd defo be re testing with a more sensitive test to make sure, I hope you get the outcome your looking for good luck x

@pooopypants if my last pregnancy had continued the baby would've been born start of April so would have been 7 months old by time of wedding. And yes we have been careful? Sex twice in just over 2 months is very careful... have you never had it where it just sometimes happens and you get lost in the moment??

Unprotected sex twice in the space of 3 days though, not over the space of 2 months.
And no, I only have unprotected sex when I'm TTC.

7 months old based on your dates, not on a dating scan or going over your due date.

When is your period actually due? HPT may not be sensitive enough to pick up any early pregnancy but FRER are far more senstive than other brands.

I didn't comment on your thread to argue though, I'm simply curious.

Some tests donjust seem to throw up odd lines though don't they, think we've all been there. Can you go out and buy a frer for the morning tomorrow?? Guess it would be nice to have another result to confirm it was just a grey evap line. Do you feel pregnant at all?

@pooopypants I had been dated by epu in first pregnancy as have heart problem so had to have early scans :) and I was told anywhere between 4-6 weeks after miscarriage so by next Wednesday supposedly

@sarahc336 I don't feel pregnant like I did last time but that wasn't a viable pregnancy either way so I don't think I would feel like I did but I can't put my finger on it. I don't feel pregnant symptom wise but something in my subconscious made me tell my OH I needed a test so who knows

I guess the only way to find out is grab a more sensitive test and use first thing tomorrow morning, internet cheapies can be unreliable, good luck!! Xx
