I will try and make this as easy to understand as possible...
I took ovulation tests every 12 hours Sept 16th-19th and had one positive test on the 17th which is the date I was expecting LH surge. The tests around that one had a fainter control line than the test line so I discounted those.
SO - from that positive test I assumed I'd had an LH surge/possible ovulation had occurred on the expected date.
Partner and I slept together on the 16th and 17th Sept, and my period is due to occur this Friday 4th Oct.
For some unbeknown reason I took an ovulation test at 7ish this morning, two weeks to the day that I had my last positive ovulation test result. To my eyes it shows the control and test windows to be the same depth of colour...so I took a second, third and fourth test throughout the day and they all show two distinct lines (please see pictures attached).
Could these tests indicate the LH surge which occurs before a period?? (as mentioned above period is due in 2 days) or I have also read that ovulation tests can be used as pregnancy tests?? I can't get an actual pregnancy test until late tomorrow.
Advice appreciated.
