I’m going mad - pg or not!?

Hi Mumsnet wisdom,

For background, I have Pcos and have been trying to conceive since November 2017. For the pcos I am on 1500 mg of metformin but otherwise the gps have no interest. I miscarried at 10 weeks in april this year. It’s been a long road and tbh, it’s completely frying my mind.

After the miscarriage, my cycles stabilised down to 34 and 38 days for the last two cycles. This cycle I am currently on day 51 with no sign of AF. I am getting consistent early pregnancy symptoms (that are consistent with the pregnancy I miscarried) sickness, headache, metallic taste, horrendous lower back/tailbone pain and a heaviness in my lower stomach. I have tested for pregnancy 3 times now, once on the 15th of sept, once last week and then once today. All have been negative. I feel like I am going crazy. Has anyone got any reassurance?

@TommyShelby sorry to hear of your mc. Since mine, my cycles have been all over the show too. I know you said your gp wasn't very helpful but I think you do need to go back again x

Thanks for your reply. I think you might be right unfortunately. I do feel like I’m going mad though. I am getting symptoms but then the negative pregnancy tests happen and it’s like the tests are saying ‘no, you’re imagining it all!’
