Has anyone conceived after DTD 3 days before ovulation?

Hi,

We did the DTD on Thursday and on Sunday morning I got my solid smiley face on clear blue digital advance ovulation test. Is there any chance I could still conceive? Has anyone conceived by having sex few days before ovulation before? Thanks

That's ok timing. You should DTD from 4/5 days prior to ovulation to one day after. Ideally the sperms need to be ready and waiting for the egg to erupt from the ovary and it can take them a couple of days to get there.
