Hey!

I'm new to this group as I am looking for some advice.

I have been trying to conceive for around 6 months now and in this time taken a number of tests and always been negative.

However, my period was 2 days late so I took another and saw a flash of a positive line, it stayed around a minute (albeit very faint) but then completely disappeared.

The next day I came on, much heavier than usual too so was a little confused and thinking I am just seeing things with the line. The next day (which was yday) I had very little blood, more like a brown discharge on my tampon. I took another test this morning and the line was there again, but extremely faint. As they are cheap strip tests I decided to buy a clearblue one and it was negative. I still have very light bleeding today but 3 test strips have this ridiculously faint line.

I hate the waiting game! But I am thinking the bleeding is a sign that I'm not pregnant. Any thoughts please?

Any clear blue tests I did were always negative, yet cheaper tests always showed positive so I don't trust CB tests.

As for the bleeding.. I can't help you im afraid as I didn't experience it, just never had a period if I was pregnant. It could mean it's a miscarriage, or it could mean you're still pregnant, just having a period (which is also possible happened to my mum with me)

I think that if your tests when you were two days late was very faint, then you started bleeding, it means you've had a chemical pregnancy.

The fact that you're still bleeding and are having very faint tests supports this.

If you stop bleeding and start to get really obvious dark lines on your tests, you may have a viable pregnancy.

I'm still getting very faint lines and its driving me mad. I've lost hope now but I have had cramps the last week and no period since the 1 day heavy bleed and brown spots xx

That looks like a freedom test and they are notorious for giving false readings. I also got a line on one and wasn't pregnant. The reviews on them are awful. Try and use a different pink dye test if you can get one.
