Conception after the pill

Hello
About 5-6 weeks ago i stopped taking the pill (microgynon) as me and my boyfriend have decided we would like to try and have a child together. (I have a 5 year old son from a previous relationship) I have yet to have a period since stopping the pill. Would i need to have a period after coming off the pill before im able to conceive? Or could i start ovulating without having a period? Looking for some advice from anyone who's been in the same situation. Thanks.

I came off my pill in June. Found out I'm pregnant a week ago. I hadn't had a period at all so definitely possible! Smile

I came off at the end of August, had a breakthrough bleed, and now Im pregnant!
Definitely can happen 😊

When we had DS I was pregnant before I’d had a bleed after coming off the pill so yes it can happen.

I’m 3 weeks off the pill again today and still waiting for any type of bleed! I’m not pregnant though, tested this morning just to make sure as I want to have a drink later

Thanks for your replies. I have actually started to bleed now. Think im getting a proper period. But since coming off the pill my body feels weird keeps giving me all pregnancy symptoms when im not even pregnant! Hopefully once i have this proper period we might be able to conceive 😊
