Sorry if any of this is TMI.

We lost our baby girl a while ago, had all post mortom results back and no reason could be found for the loss (although I still suspect it was something to do with it being a twin pregnancy and loosing the first twin early on). We wanted to start trying again soon but had to wait due to problems with retained placenta. This has now been confirmed as gone and I had my first proper period starting on the 15th September. I’ve been trying to look at my cervical mucus but getting rather confused with it all. The app I use says I ovulate today. I have an average cycle of 25 days. The day after my period ended on 20th sept I had spotting so couldn’t tell what my CM was like. The 21st to around the 24th I would say was quite slippery and very clear but not very stretchy. I then had ‘ovulation pains’ on around the 24th and since then my CM has been very cloudy and sticky and quite a lot of it. This is the first month I’ve ever checked my CM and just wondering if anyone can help confirm that I most likely ovulated when I had the ovulation pains on the 24th rather then ovulating today as my app tells me?

I really appreciate the help!

If we do manage to get pregnant again they will never ever replace our babies that we lost but I’d love more than anything to have another baby!

I'm so sorry for your loss. 💐
Unfortunately I cannot help with your query. All I can suggest is that if you and your husband feel ready to try for a baby again, just go for it. My sister tried for years using an app and failed. I told her to stop trying, be intimate because you want to, not because an app says. She fell pregnant within a couple of months and had a gorgeous baby boy. 18 months later they were surprised with a beautiful girl.
I wish you the very best for a happy, healthy pregnancy with a gorgeous baby at the end of it xx

You are completely right and I know that’s the right way to be, it’s just hard when you want it so badly again. I’ve started counselling anyway so hopefully that’ll help calm me down with it all. Thank you for your reply :)!
