TTC after D&C/MVA

I had an MVA yesterday (local anaesthetic version of D&C). My doctor said to wait a month before TTC, one of the nurses at the hospital said to wait 3 months, and another said we could TTC straight away. Any ideas?

There's nothing to stop you trying again. They prefer you to have a period to allow them to date any new pregnancy but that's about it.
Good luck ❤️

Thank you! I’ve seen stuff about the lining of the womb needing to build up again - is that right or not? Is it thinner after a d&c than a normal mc?

I had one a couple of weeks ago, some people said we could try straight away (but to get a negative pregnancy test first for dating), others said to wait until I'd had a period. None mentioned waiting any more than one cycle.

The miscarriage association says there's no (physical) reason to wait.
