Tesco’s pregnancy test. Anyone any idea?

Today I have taken 3 pregnancy tests.

2 Tesco’s tests (blue) both show a faint line. It’s not an early test and I am not due on for about 4 days. The first one I dipped and saw a line, then worried that I had flooded the test so dipped the second one for less time with the same result.

After seeing the line I went to local chemist to buy an “ultra early” pink test. Supposedly able to tell if pregnant 5 days early. No hint of a line.

All dipped from the same pot. Is this likely to mean the Tesco one isn’t reliable!?

Sorry if this post is annoying. Been TTC since I miscarried my first pregnancy in 2017 with no joy.

Use the first urine and a first response? Really hard to tell from this, although it's much more likely a positive it there's a line at all I wouldn't want to get your hopes up too much as I don't know those tests. Fake negatives happen all the time but fake positives are very rare though.

I know its a rubbish answer, but the only way to be sure is to wait a few days and test again. Im so impatient and waiting any length of time for results was rubbish, but its really the only way to be sure

Thanks for replies. I’ve done another test now. Early one that shows nothing. I can’t find first response anywhere.

Although I followed the Tesco’s test and read results within 2 minutes I feel fairly confident that they’re false positives, which has actually made me feel really angry and a bit upset.

I’m usually fairly good at not testing. I tend to presume I’m not pregnant these days but I was out and got one on the off chance.

There is a chance OP.
I have used Tesco tests and found the result reliable. Try not to dwell (easy for me to say) and wait until you are a day overdue. Any old test will show you a positive then if there is one to see. Good luck Flowers

Thank you. I just highly doubt that a pregnancy test that you are supposed to take after a late period would be more sensitive than an early tester. I didn’t realise when I bought it.

Also I only ever feel angry a few days before my period, and this has made me REALLY angry haha.
