One positive pregnancy test - others negative?

2 days ago I took a pregnancy test (stick) from tesco and it said I was pregnant. I took another one later that day at the doctors and it said negative. I took a digital next morning and it said not pregnant. All my other test sticks have been negative. This is happened within 2/3 days after the initial positive test. No faint line or anything.
I am having lots of symptoms, missed my period, backache, nausea, pain in my pelvis, no bleeding, headaches, cramping, bloating. My doctor wants me to see her again in 2 weeks time incase the negatives were too early to test, but I feel like I wouldn’t have had so many negatives if i was pregnant. Any ideas?

Really sorry to say this but have you considered a miscarriage? Early miscarriage is really common and your symptoms sound like your period. I've been through it all and once when I was trying to get pregnant I missed my period for a full week. I was in angony and on the phone to nhs24 three times convinced I was pregnant Even with negative tests. Then a nurse on the phone very gently suggested my mind was playing tricks on me. I wanted to be pregnant so bad my body was trying to turn a negative into a positive. Thirty seconds after the call my period started and all the other symptoms disappeared. Not saying this is you but try not to worry or think about it. I know that is hard. I eventually had two boys both IVF so I know how hard the wait is but there's really nothing you can do. Good luck and fingers crossed.

Do you know the sensitivity of the positive pregnancy test that yoiiu took? Some are more sensitive than others so they may give mixed results. Another reason could, unfortunately, be a chemical pregnancy, or an early miscarriage. This is where the egg was fertilized but did not implant correctly, or had something genetically wrong with it. I'd say to give it a few days and test again!

Thanks for your reply,
They were around the same sensitivity. I have a feeling it was a chemical pregnancy but it was literally a positive then that evening and the morning after - all negatives. Maybe it was just the pregnancy test giving me a false positive.
It is really sad. I’ve had a lot of gynae problems, cyst that was a melon size and endometriosis , and I’ve always felt I couldn’t get pregnant so I was excited seeing the result. I’m only 27.
