Unbearable periods... help!

Hi all, I came off the pill in June this year (loestrin 30) in hope me and my husband TTC. I’ve been tracking using Flo as I was on the pill for many years so wanted to see the change.
I’m regular every month and bang on when flo indicates I’m going to come on however my periods have been ridiculously heavy! I’m going through a tampon and pad every 30mins to an hour for at least 5 days and passing large blood clots. I went to the drs who prescribed me tranexamic acid however I don’t feel this is helping!
Did anyone else experience this? My dr is now saying I need to wait 6 months to a year before they will ‘look into this’ HELP !!!

I didn't want to read and run but that sounds heavy. You poor thing. Hopefully someone will have advice.

I had the same (sorry for tmi but the bathroom looked like a murder scene! I didn't think my Gyno would believe me so I took photos). Luckily I had finished having my family so I was able to have an Endometrial Ablation. But you should not consider this at your stage.

Please talk to your gynecologist.
