I can't seem to find anyone on the same timing - any ladies expecting AF early October?

I'm only 1 DPO with AF due 6 October, anybody else just starting their TWW to buddy up with?

@hazzap26 can you maybe pick up a frer? That would be more sensitive so should hopefully pick up a BFP 🤞 all your symptoms sound good though! Good luck x

HazzaP26 · 05/10/2019 10:52

@whambam89 I ordered a couple of those online yesterday so should be here by tues. I have a normal first response to try again tomorrow so hopefully I wont even need to use the FRER when they come 🤞🏻 thanks for the positivity, I have 0 🙈😂 x

whambam89 · 05/10/2019 11:35

AF has just shown up so I'm out this month 😭

HazzaP26 · 05/10/2019 11:47

Hi all, hope everyone is doing ok!

So AF showed up a little early last cycle so I assumed I was out for this month, then I've had some light spotting today (only CD10) and when I read up on it saw that this had happened to others and they were pregnant. I nipped into Tesco on the way home and just picked up a couple of freedom tests, did one when I got home and a positive came up within a couple of minutes.

Obviously I should be excited about this, however, firstly, the spotting may be a concern (although I did have it at this stage with DD1 as well) and secondly, I've read a few stories about false positives on these (after I purchased obviously) - does anyone have any experience using them?

Pic below to make sure I'm not going crazy 😂

@whambam89 I have had false positives on these tests myself. BUT and this is a big BUT I've never seen for myself or anyone else get a false positive on any test this obvious! That's a very strong line there so I very highly doubt it's wrong! Maybe stop off at a 24hr Tesco and grab a more expensive test? Because if you're like me you don't want to wait for the morning haha .... but I strongly strongly strongly doubt this is a false positive - no matter the brand or price of the test!!

Good luck and cannot wait to see if you really are pregnant babe !! 😘

whambam89 · 15/10/2019 05:43

@wannabeamummy123 thanks lovely, I managed to get to sleep so will grab another test today. Trying not to get my hopes up!

whambam89 · 15/10/2019 05:45

@wannabemummy123 I've also just taken the second test in the pack and that's a strong positive as well 🤞

whambam89 · 15/10/2019 11:07

Frer is a BFN so God knows what's going on

wannabemummy123 · 15/10/2019 11:56

Do you have a photo of today's positive though..? @whambam89

whambam89 · 15/10/2019 13:27

@wannabemummy123 this is a picture of the one from this morning x

That's really there @whambam89 anything today????? X

whambam89 · 16/10/2019 07:39

@wannabemummy123 I've not done another test or bought any more. I'm going to leave it a couple of days I think. My issue is that the line should have been a lot darker by now if it's from the last cycle because I technically should be in my fertile window again this week so that's what makes me feel like they're false positives x

wannabemummy123 · 16/10/2019 13:05

@whambam89 then maybe instead of buying pregnancy tests either buy some ovulation tests and see what happens ... or go to the hospital for bloods ..? If you're pregnant it will show in your blood... pregnancy tests are mistakeable but blood tests are not!

If I were you I would do both babe. Put your mind at ease either way xxx
