Hello, I'm just starting the tww today. I had my lh peak on Tuesday morning so I'm thinking today is ovulation day! Did the deed monday night and last night and going to DTD tonight and tomorrow as well to keep all bases covered! DH is working shifts so I'm waking up at midnight each night to DTD! I've been using pre seed as well so let's see! I wanted to try SMEP but DH had a small op which left him out of action for a few days last week. I usually ovulate on CD20 so i was going to try it from CD11 but this month i ovulated early and got my peak at CD15. I'm feeling really positive this month. How are you feeling?

blackpinkinyourarea · 25/09/2019 11:21

Hi I'll join you!
TTC #1
Cycle 1 (first proper cycle since implant removal)
Age 29
AF due 11th Oct
Im currently CD13 and think I ovulated around CD11 based on OPK which was almost positive (so think I missed the full surge) and EWCM. I am trying to not get my hopes up too much as only had my implant out at the start of the month.

MrssC92 · 25/09/2019 11:53

I missed the full surge on my OPK as well. I saw it gradually go up but not quite hit peak and then since yesterday morning its come down so I'm sure it must have happened.
Ah it's hard isn't it. Wanting a positive but trying not to get your hopes up but still end up disappointed if AF comes. Last month I worried far too much, symptom spotted 24/7 and this month I just need to calm down and I really do feel more relaxed about it all. So long as we DTD at the right time all we can do is wait and see.

GoldLeafTree · 25/09/2019 11:57

@MrssC92 I love the commitment of waking up at midnight to DTD. Yesterday we DTD at 5am before DH went to work! How lucky that you caught your LH surge on time, that could've been really easy to miss.

We DTD on CD 8,9,10,12,13 and 14 so I think I have covered all bases. I had a positive OPK and EWCM on Sunday night and throughout Monday so I think I ovulated on CD14/Tuesday.

I'm feeling really positive this month too but I'm hesitant to be optimistic as I don't want to be disappointed. I've been reading all the positive feedback from Pre-Seed and SMEP and getting my hopes up a lot

How long have you been trying?

GoldLeafTree · 25/09/2019 12:24

@blackpinkinyourarea I'm on cycle 2 after getting my implant removed! I've seen lots of posters on here say they became PG immediately after stopping the pill or having their implant removed so it's definitely possible

Hi @GoldLeafTree I'm 3DPO and due AF around the 6th October, will probably test on the 5th, maybe 7th depending (it's my birthday on the 7th so could either be a great birthday present or a major bummer depending).

Sounds like you've been busy in your fertile window! 😄 Are you 2 DPO now?

MrssC92 · 25/09/2019 13:23

I'm on cycle #4, third of trying properly and Opking. We fell pregnant on cycle #2, but that unfortunately ended in a chemical.
Looks like youve covered all basis with DTD this month! 5am is dedication as well, but we won't be sleeping much when we have babies so why not start now Wink
I know! I noticed some EWCM so decided to OPK and the next morning I had my peak. I never really trust CM that much until this month.
I'll be testing on the 5th because I'm going out drinking, expecting a BFN because I'll only be 10dpo but I'll feel better about having a few drinks if I do.

blackpinkinyourarea · 26/09/2019 20:36

@GoldLeafTree i have read about women getting pregnant extremely quickly too..and also cases where it has taken over a year! Hoping that it is the former for both of us :)
I have an OPK question, I have still been using them even though i think i already ovulated. I had 2 days of very faint OPKs and then today its started getting quite dark again, is this normal??

Bab2019 · 26/09/2019 20:48

Hi, can I join please, I’m on my first cycle of TTC after coming off my pill. Think I’m 4 DPO. But hard getting back into the swing of my cycles after years of not having periods. I am not going to be doing OPK for now, going to try without for a few cycles 😊

MrssC92 · 27/09/2019 16:57

@blackpinkinyourarea I don't really know sorry. There's a post on here called ovulation corner and evelineuk is answering a lot of opk questions so they might be able to help.
Welcome @Bab2019 how are you tracking ovulation if no opks?

Bab2019 · 27/09/2019 17:04

Hi! I’m just roughly going by my cycles and symptoms really. Been off my pill for 4 months and had my regular periods straight aways 28 day cycle. So just using apps for this cycle and its all very new.
Would you recommend them?

Feel very new to all this and thought I’d wing it but now got a bit nervous about it all.

MrssC92 · 27/09/2019 17:31

My cycles aren't regular so i need opks to know when im ovulating. The last few months I've ovulated on day 20 so I thought my cycle had settled but this month I ovulated on day 16.
If you have regular cycles then I don't think they're really as necessary because your probably ovulating at the same time each month and things like ewcm would be a good indicator.

GoldLeafTree · 29/09/2019 14:05

How's everyone getting on? I'm 5dpo and having no symptoms or anything different to usual so far!

OP posts:
Raizelrea · 29/09/2019 14:57

Hi @GoldLeafTree I think 5 DPO is pretty early for symptoms anyway so I wouldn't worry. I'm at 7 DPO and have had some nausea and fatigue throughout, both seem to have increased today. I'm trying not to read too much into it though, I think the fatigue is just due to external factors and I had nausea last cycle, so it's probably just the norm for me. When are you thinking of testing?

GoldLeafTree · 30/09/2019 14:36

@Raizelrea how are you today?

I'm 6dpo now and just had a big load of discharge, I went to the loo as I could feel it coming out. It was really creamy and white, not sure what this is

Going to test at 12dpo I think, how about you?

OP posts:
Raizelrea · 30/09/2019 17:55

@GoldLeafTree I'm alright, more nausea last night and this morning and some weird pain in my right boob but I think that's just me being insane haha! I'm hoping to wait till 13 DPO which is Saturday, but patience is not my strongest suit! We'll see... That's interesting about your CM, I'm no expert really but could be a good sign as normally it would dry up before AF rather than increase?

blackpinkinyourarea · 06/10/2019 19:19

Hows everyone doing? I have no pg symptoms and so far 2 BFNs. Taking a frer on tues and then writing myself for this cycle!

blackpinkinyourarea · 06/10/2019 19:19

Writing myself off*
