Hi everyone,

This is my first month charting temp so I'm a bit of a newbie. This morning I had a temp rise to the highest it's been all month, 0.21 to 0.64, however I was drinking last night. I drank earlier in the month and it had no effect on my temp the next morning. Do you think this temp rise could be due to alcohol or ovulation?

The app I use says to discount bbt if you’ve been drinking the night before. It depends how much you’ve had though. If it’s just one on an evening it shouldn’t make much difference but if it was quite a few and you felt drunk I usually discount it.

@lunamoon1 yes, just put a note on today and if your temps for the next few days aren’t anywhere near you’ll know to discount today. I’ve been temping for 3 cycles now and find it really interesting being able to understand my body. Fingers crossed for you.
