Hello everyone, I am new here and hoping someone has had a similar experience to mine lol..

My husband and I had our first "accident" if you will, lol, on August 26th. If I am pregnant, that should put me at about 5 weeks this coming Monday, I think.. My last period was July 24-31. I got a digital positive result (first response) on Wednesday September 11, (we both got so excited!!) but have been getting mixed results since then. Both digital and lines have been telling me both negative and faint positives. I took an 88cent HCG test on the 16th that gave a faint positive, but received a negative from the exact same test this morning. I have several symptoms of early pregnancy such as frequent urination, extreme hunger, mood swings, fatigue, and I know it's not exactly a sign but both of my dogs have been really up my a$$ the past 2 weeks. They want in my lap, right on top of me, (not small dogs.. 60/80 pounds lol) they keep sniffing at and nudging on my belly and then resting their heads there (very gentle). One even sat in the bathroom floor while I took a shower yesterday. Very uncharacteristic for both of my dogs. I also felt very nauseas all week last week but never threw up.... I have an appt. to have blood work done this coming Monday but this is really stressing me out getting such mixed results. Any advise?

@SierraS2508

Are your cycles normally quite long? And are you tracking your ovulation?

I might be misunderstanding this, but if your last period started on July 24th and you have the average length of a cycle (28-30ish days) then you next period should have started around August 24th, right?

But you think you conceived on August 26th? Was that because you have longer cycles and you had a positive ovulation test around that time?

In regards to the pregnancy tests, if you had a positive test your were most likely pregnant at that point. These tests are all very different and can be faulty etc, so maybe some of them just didn't pick up the hcg.

Try not to worry about it too much (easier said than done, I know) but it's a good thing you have the appointment booked and they'll hopefully be able to clarify this for you.

I really hope this goes well for you!

My cycles are unfortunately quite irregular (always have been) so I try to keep track of them as best I can lol. I don't track my ovulation only because we weren't exactly trying to conceive when it happened lol.

The only reason I say the conception date would have been August 26th is because that's the night we had our "technical malfunction" if you will lol. We have never had any accidents until that night. So at this point that is my only source of possibility to go off of at the moment.

If my cycle decides to come when (I think) it's supposed to. That would be this coming Wednesday the 25th. So far I have not had any spotting but I have been getting mild cramps the past couple days (strange for me because I don't get cramps when I get my period.. Never have) and last night before I got in the shower I realized my breasts were slightly sore around the outside area and I could feel a slight pressure in the center behind them.

My apt. is tomorrow so I am trying to keep calm about it lol, but this whole mixed results thing has really got me a little aggravated lol... At this point I'm really hoping for a positive result. Otherwise I'm not sure why I'm having these symptoms. lol
