Hi everyone. Is this an evap line or a vv faint positive? I’m 8DPO and have been trying for about 14 months so am driving myself crazy... thank you all in advance!

@QueenToodalu oh I really really hope so. I’m glad someone agrees as I was starting to think I had completely lost the plot. I’m keeping everything crossed and will retest tomorrow / Monday

@perdigal thank you - I hope you are right! This has been a very long time coming, think I’m going to get a FRER and test again tomorrow or Monday!

I'd be going to Tesco extra tonight, buying one to capture the first morning pee! Good luck and keep us posted x

I think if you're at the point you're inverting the image then it's really too faint to be sure. You're only 8dpo, I'd wait another couple of days.

It also looks like a faint positive to me - and I would also be going to get a test for the morning. Best of luck OP!

@Itallt0omuch We’ve been trying for about 15 months, unfortunately as time goes on it gets harder and harder to wait until AF is due ☹️ I know it’s unlikely to see anything so early, but I took a cheap test just to see and thought I saw a faint line, inverted it to see if it made it clearer or if it disappeared

Looks like a positive to me! Test with a clear blue digital like mentioned above to be 100% sure, good luck!

@Mum2onexx that’s very reassuring.. I’m trying so so hard not to get my hopes up too much but I’ve got this very funny feeling in my tummy, butterflies at the prospect that it might actually be possible.
Unfortunately there are no big supermarkets nearby so I won’t be able to get one for tomorrow morning, but I’ll go out tomorrow and get some ready for Monday morning!

Again there is a faint showing there but to stop yourself going crazy wait till you have a digital. Fingers crossed 🤞 x

You're still only 10dpo. When is AF due?

@Itallt0omuch AF due 27/28th, so Friday or Saturday. I’d have thought I would have seen something by now, even faintly. It’s so heartbreaking looking down at negatives all the time

I'm sorry if this is insensitive but when I fell pregnant with twins I had a negative on day 8. I didn't get a bfp until day 12. You're not out until AF arrives. Not trying to give you false hope but I think it's too early to say for sure you're not pregnant.

No that’s not insensitive at all, I know false negatives are quite common especially early on. AF due at the end of the week, so I’ll wait and see. FRER was a pack of 2 so I can test again at the weekend if no AF. Thanks for sharing, I really appreciate all the support on here.
