Hi

Wondering if anyone can advise because I'm driving myself crazy!

My husband and I are trying to conceive our first. I have long cycles - used to be irregular but fairly regular lately at 6w 2d.

On those timings I'm due my period on Sunday. However 9 days ago I had a couple of days of really light flow, nowhere near as heavy or long or painful as my period usually is.

Before this, I'd had a couple of weeks of really sore breasts which I only usually get for a few days around my period.

Since then I've felt tired and had increased discharge but otherwise ok. I don't have any of my usual signs that my period is due at the moment, but I'm having quite sharp achey pains around my right hip, right side of abdomen really low down and lower back.

I took a boots own brand 5 days early detection test today and it was negative :(

I thought the bleed I had might have been implantation, but should a test be positive now if that was the case? Has anyone else had a boots early detection say negative and then gone on to get a positive? I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I can't help it! I can't think of any other explanation for last weeks bleed than implantation - I've never bled between my periods before and have absolutely never had a period anything like that. But then the test is negative! Aagh!

Sounds like its possible. I have pcos and conceived easily two times. Both times pregnancy tests didn't show until i was about 5 weeks. I suggest begin folic acid and just chillout. If you are pregnant, theres no point constantly testing. Your symptoms will continue and amplify. And about a month after you were supposed to get your period, you will eventually test positive with a home pregnancy test. If you are not pregnant, go to a doctor in a few weeks and get a blood test/get yourself checked out.
No point worrying. Also happy mama means happy baby.
