What day did you get your BFP?

Hey :) what day did all pregnant mummas get their first BFP?
Just a big question that I thought would be interesting and might help others that are currently trying and waiting for their BFP x

I wanted to ask this....

I am 8DPO. How soon is too soon to test?

4 days after AF was due. Tested on sunday and got a bfp straight away. Good luck!

First pregnancy 12dpo.
Second 9dpo got an absolute squinter, clear bfp a day or two later.

I got mine 2 days before period was due. My hormones were going crazy, I could have started an argument in an empty room.

My periods were still totally irregular after coming off the pill so I have no idea at all! I think i was about a month gone when i found out with DD, similar with DS (got bfp on Christmas Day, but I know that's not what you meant by 'when did you get your bfp?' )

@StephyRose I'd wait till at least 10 dpo :) if you take too many you'll go insane like I am haha

@Nat6999 I've been on the pill for so long so I have no idea when my periods are due so just going on DPO at the moment :) haha sounds fun! I haven't really had any symptoms :/

I got mine yesterday; 2 days before AF.
(Regular 28 day cycle)
The only symptom I had was getting very emotional (unlike me) Something told me to buy some tests and to my surprise... BFP!

@Something20 haha you are probably right! No symptoms at all ... maybe I should just want for AF ...

4 days before AF

I got mine at 10dpo (in the afternoon). I had a BFN dpo. 10dpo was day 26 of a 28 day cycle. Also, it didn't get darker particularly quickly but I'm now 32 weeks pregnant!

I tested at 16 dpo first pregnancy and second one I tested on CD31 but I don't know when I ovulated as I wasn't temping.

I've always avoided testing early as it seems to cause a lot of unnecessary stress. Also I always found my period starting a lot less disappointing than a negative test, something about taking a test is admitting that you think you could be pregnant, and I'd always get my hopes up.

11DPO today and still no positive but also still no period. Last month was a 26 day cycle but tomorrow will be CD 31 🤨 so confusing!

@StephyRose Wait for AF if you're able to :) I agree with @WhoArtinHeaven that a period is less disappointing than a negative test tbh!

@WhoArtinHeaven I try not to test early but just can't help myself :/ I do agree with the period being less disappointing though for definite

If you test really early on and get a faint positive and then start bleeding you will have had a chemical pregnancy.

If you wait until your period is a week late and test you'll have saved yourself that misery at least.
