Just wanting some advice from those who have been to see Mr Shehata and what their experiences were, good or bad would be appreciated.
My history is:
Mmc at 12 weeks Aug 18 (Fetus 7-8 weeks)
Mc at 9 weeks Jan 19 (hb at 6 weeks, none at 8)
Mc at 8 weeks May 19 (no fetal pole, just yolk sac)
I was in progesterone with last pregnancy too.
I have an amazing nhs consultant who's done all he can and lots of tests so far all have come back normal. He's booked me in for a hysteroscopy end of Oct and also had karyotype tests done still awaiting results.
Had a referral at Tommy's and they weren't very helpful to me, I was told because I 'only had 3 miscarriages' and that my nhs consultant and done so many tests they wouldn't consider anything further for me.
Had a private appt with Prof Arri Coomasary and he just told me I've been unlucky and too keep trying.
Have an appt with Prof Quenby in Oct but it's now been changed to Dec for NK cells hence why I've looked up Dr S clinic.
I'm currently on folic acid, vit d and have been prescribed progesterone if I was to have a positive test and aspirin. Prof Arri disagrees with me taking aspirin and said it can have an adverse effect and cause mc.
In limbo and I know Dr S is very expensive but I just want to know what's going on.
