Cycle being ridiculous

Sorry this is long! I'm 36, TTC #1, trying for 7 months.

Until July I had a very regular 28 day cycle, usually with a few days of brown spotting before it starts. In July AF arrived a week early (so cd21), after a few days of spotting. In August, it arrived CD26, after 3 days of spotting, so almost back to normal.

I'm now on CD31 (16dpo) and AF has not arrived. I got really excited for this one because on 11-14dpo I had light pink spotting and felt very bloated and a bit crampy. I took a FRER on Saturday - 14dpo - and it was stark white - definite negative.

AF still hasn't arrived, but I'm now getting very small amounts of red spotting - not brown like I normally get, but red. I'm using a cup as I'm out and about a lot for work and don't want AF to start out of nowhere, otherwise I probably wouldn't even notice it.

I feel so crap when I get a negative test that I don't want to test again and I'd have thought 14dpo should have shown a positive if I was pregnant. Is there anything else that could be going on here? I have no particular stress at the moment and haven't gained or lost weight recently. Is this something to go to the GP for? Even my tracker app has given up on me and removed all its predictions Confused

Sorry for bumping my own thread, but I've just taken another test and it's negative again - really frustrating!

Hey - I'm in a similar position at the mo so lending support rather than have an answer (sorry!)

Currently on CD 43 - longest cycle ever - though have had a couple of 40ish days over the last decade(!). Usually between about 27 and 31 days. Have endo and ovarian cysts plus low and bad quality ovarian reserves (and waiting on donor egg to carry on treatment with after 4 failed IVFs) so REALLY unlikely but still no sign of AF and test yesterday and a week ago were negative too.

Wondering when to go to the GP for a set of bloods.

It's stressful waiting for AF to arrive or something to happen. I feel your pain with it.......all we can do is wait.
