TTC for more than a year. Anyone else?

Hello,

How long has it taken people to get pregnant with baby number 2? I have been actively trying for over a year now.

Any help would be appreciated. Is anyone else in the same boat?

I took 15 months to conceive number 2, sadly miscarried at 12+ weeks, now 11 months on and still nothing.

First baby was textbook - came off pill in November and pregnant at new year!

We've been trying for 4 years now for our second child (DS is 8 years old).

I've only fallen pregnant once during that time and it was an ectopic which ended in an emergency surgery and I lost my right tube.

I've just been put on Metformin for PCOS now and hoping that will work before I'll go onto Clomid.

My girl is almost 4.
I'm 42 now and actually considering stopping as the gap is just getting bigger and bigger. Partner wants to try another couple of months thou.
