I got a strong positive on an OPK yesterday, does this one look positive too? Does it mean you've ovulated when it's positive or you're about to ovulate? I've been pregnant three times before but this is my first time using OPK and I'm not really sure how they work! Hubby has got a sickness bug, hoping he'll be well enough to dtd tomorrow but not sure if we'll have missed my window by then?

Positive is normally 24-48 hours before ovulation. That looks like the LH surge is subsiding, so ovulation May have just occurred or may be just about to occur (unless you’ve tracked your cycle previously, it’s hard to know exactly). Ideally conception occurs within 24 hours of ovulation.

It's slightly fainter than the one I took last night so I'm guessing I've ovulated already then. It's my first cycle since stopping taking the pill so I don't know how long my cycle is.

Just because it's fainter then last nights doesn't mean you have ovulated yet. The positive opk is testing for the LH surge. Ovulation will start between 12-36 hours from that positive test and it's not that you ovulate quickly. It can take 12hours+ to actually ovulate.

You'll have time today I'd say it tomorrow morning if he's feeling better
