Short cycle, blood tests and approaching 40

Hi newly back on here after a couple years, starting to ttc again but needing a little advice or reassurance if anyone is experiencing the same.
I'm 40 in Nov and we are ttc but I have noiced a change in my cycles the last few (4ish) months. They are short at 24 days and my period only 3-4 days so I'm pretty much having 2 periods per month. I've got blood tests booked in the next two weeks, one is to check fhs levels and one to check if I'm ovulating.
With DD after 6 cycles I had the same blood test and my fhs levels were a little high, but I got my bfp on the next cycle so it wasn't an issue. I'm wondering now if these short cycles are an indication that my levels will be higher, that combined with turning 40 makes me feel a bit wobbly that I may be hitting early menopause with having the fhs levels high 2 years ago.
Anyone had or having similar experience or any advice.xx

Hi @teachermam how many cycles have you been trying for now? This is my 1st cycle so very early days but I've noticed such a change in my cycles I'm not confident it will be easy. Getting the blood tests will at least give me an idea of whats happening with my body.

Hi I'm going to be 40 in January, TTC since Jan. MC in may quite severe, then chemical at the weekend. My cycles are pretty good varying between 27-30 days but have been spotting constantly since the bad MC in may. Had all sorts of tests done and awaiting a hysteroscopy in the next few weeks, hope you get some answers soon it's pretty draining waiting when it seems everyone points out the clock is against you 😒 xx
