Period dilemma

So I visited the doctor today because my periods over the last few months have been getting lighter and lighter and he’s literally terrified me with talks of infertility and polycystic ovaries! He’s asked me to do bloods and said if we can’t conceive in 6 months then he’ll send us for testing.

I used to be super heavy but I’ve been on the contraception pill/implant for years (around 13years). The last 2years, I was on a mini pill so had no periods at all. My husband and I made the decision to stop taking contraception a year ago but nothing has happened. I’ve been tracking my cycle and I’m regular as clockwork 28/29!days every month but I’ve noticed that they’re not lasting as long. I usually get a day of light spotting then a medium flow for 2/3days but for the past 2months I had spotting for a day and then a light period for a day followed by more spotting. Is this normal?!
Nothing has really changed, no stress or weight loss/gain (significant).
I’m worried something’s wrong

@kate91456 I had something similar, was on the injection for many years with no periods at all, came off and then for months had no periods, doctors were worried I have polycycstic ovaries so was referred for bloods, scans etc but all came back fine! Sometimes after being on contraception for so long it can take a while for things to go back to normal and stay that way, but it sounds like a good sign that your so regular Smile hope it all works out for you! Since coming off the pill I can pretty much handle my period on panty liners. Only one day really I need anything else. The only thing being is it lasts 7 days. But it's SO light. I know I have PCOS but that's usually coupled with heavy periods. I know I'm ovulating so I'm not too worried, just wish it wasn't 7 days really

2ww- Hi I had my 3 day embryo transfer 10 days ago. All the symptoms I am getting suggest my period is imminent, cramping and lower back pain mainly. Can anyone tell me what symptoms they got in the 2ww and ended up with a positive test result. This is my 2nd cycle and I am convinced I will start spotting this weekend like I did last time. Thanks
