Reflexology or acupuncture?

So I spoke to the doctor about my high prolactin levels (623 mIU/L then 1 month later raised to 903 mIU) and she seems to think that it's most likely due to stress (as I'm still having regular periods). My summer has been a little intense due to work, but things have calmed down quite a bit now. But I feel like I'm in a vicious circle, trying not to stress about conceiving before I turn 40 (in 4 months) is making me stress about it more! Confused
I've tried yoga and pilates in the past but that's just not for me. I've heard about reflexology or acupuncture for fertility and just wondered has that helped any of you? I know it can't directly help by making you miraculously pregnant but it's apparently good to to help with stress which could be directly linked to trouble TTC. Has anyone tried this or any other ways that can help bring down prolactin levels and if yes, which would you recommend?

hello @sabtom, I'm 38 and currently 5 weeks pregnant after a miscarriage back in April. I decided to seek some complimentary therapy to help with stress back in May. I opted for reflexology and found a lady who does fertility and pregnancy reflexology on top of the normal type (and throws in some reiki too). Can't vouch that she helped me fall pregnant but can say that during my sessions I very nearly fall asleep, my heart rate drops quite significantly and I feel energises and relaxed at the same time straight after.

I've had acupuncture for a shoulder muscle injury before and floated after that too! I'd say do some research, find one who can do a fertility and pregnancy one and then give them a try!

I had acupuncture when my periods were all over the place and so I couldn’t get pregnant. After a few months the therapist told me the exact date in the diary when I was most fertile and told me that my body was now in a healthy state to ttc. Guess what! Nine months after that I had my baby!!

@Kayjay2018 @elliehamster Thank you ladies! I'm leaning towards the reflexology more as I think I'd find that more relaxing than having needles stuck in me Shock. Don't suppose you can give any recommendations to someone in the London area, preferably south?

@Kimm123 acupuncture is where they stick the tiny needles into you at certain points and reflexology is about pressure points in the feet. Sorry it's a bit of a rubbish description, I'm sure someone else would probably give a better explanation lol

@sabtom the lady I see only operates in West Sussex and Kent I think. If you google fertility reflexology in south London you should get some options :-)
