I'm not trying to conceive. I'm young and having a child right now would be disastrous for me but I'm terrified I may be pregnant.

I last had sex around the 25th June. We used a condom but I am not on any other type of birth control. I then started my period a couple of days later and bled for about 5 days, producing enough blood to fill up my menstrual cup at least twice each day (sorry if tmi). This seems like a proper period rather than implantation spotting?

Since then, I had a period last month I think. I don't remember it but I would have noticed and panicked if it didn't come so it must have. It always comes at the end of the month. However, I didn't have a period at the end of August like I normally would and still haven't had a period so it's now over 2 weeks late.

My uterus area looks more swollen and I do feel different in my body. I took two pregnancy tests today and one was completely blank and the other may have had the faintest line when I tilt it a certain angle but I don't know if I was imagining it. I would be 2 months pregnant by now so the line would show up strongly if I was pregnant right?

I'm worried I might still be pregnant and I'm so stressed and feel sick with fear. Please reassure me that I'm not???

I'm trying to upload a pic of the test but I can't see any paperclip icon

Hi

Looking at the test it is negative. I definitely don't think you are pregnant but you should see the gp if you are not 100% sure or are having pains/feeling swollen.

If you were two months it should show on a test

Hope this helps

And that's the only time you had sex? If so, you're not pregnant. Only a teeny tiny percentage of women get heavy enough bleeding to confuse it with a period. Period starting a couple of days after sex also is a period, not implantation bleeding.

Periods can be late when you ovulate late ( or skip ovulation). It happens a lot, even if it's not normal for you.

I see what you mean by the line, I can see it on that test (and I can't see them half of the time on here)
But this would be a very, very new pregnancy with a line this faint.

Have you not had sex again since that one time in June?
If not, then this "line" is probably some sort of an evap or something and you're not pregnant.

I did have sex a couple of weeks before that but those are the only two times I've had sex all year and I haven't had sex since the second time

I'd say its unlikely you are pregnant but I would go to GP due to the swelling
