Does anyone not trust first response?

Hi, I had a chemical last month...or at least what I thought was a chemical. A line visible to the naked eye which did fade over days and became negative after bleeding started.

I have heard some bad things about these tests recently giving false positives but I always thought these were the best ones?!

Jusy curious as what people's views are as I am in my 2WW now.

Yes I've had an experience of this recently, very very faint lines coming up, and I get my period each month as normal, I've been having other symptoms too but have now realized it's probably not pregnancy and a mixture of other things. Had I not got the faint lines in the first place then I wouldn't have questioned whether I was pregnant or not. Very frustrating.

I’ve had quite strong lines on them and not been pregnant, have been to the drs the same day I’ve had the positives and had bloods taken which confirmed I never was. I’m never using them again. Bought some of the same tests the NHS use which aren’t as strong and will use them if I need to.

Same. Pink line. Definitely not pregnant. There’s lots online about this at the moment, it’s definitely a bad batch.

It's really bad! I have 2 sitting in the house and I am really reluctant to use them now!!

I don’t like them either. I wasn’t sure on my cycle length and took one way too early... got a faint very pink line. Negative since on every other test.

Also... I looked at one before I took it and there was a clear line before I even used it 😂
