How sore do boobs need to be to classify as "sore boobs"?

I feel really stupid writing this post, but I've never been pregnant before and I keep hearing people saying their boobs being sore was one of the first signs of a BFP.

Is it just sitting there, doing nothing that you feel they're sore? Is it a light brush against them? Is it when you feel them?

I've been pressing my boobs thinking "do I have sore boobs?" And think that maybe doing that means I'm making them a bit sore 😂 it's literally only if I feel them pressing the flat of my hand on them that they're a bit tender, but I think I'm just being a crazy person!

Mine were awful. If I knocked them or even gently brushed against them, it'd make me wince. Also, if it was cold, my nipples would be in agony.

For me, if they were sore enough that I couldn’t sleep on my front in my own bed, then I was pregnant (I have four DC and this would occur within days of implantation each time, even before a test was positive)

Thanks to both of you for your replies, I think I'm just being a crazy person then!
