Can someone please tell me in simple terms the correlation between temperature and ovulation, and when it's supposed to rise and fall.

Thanks.

Hi, the best thing to do is google basal body temperature and you'll get a really good explanation - better than mine but....roughly speaking you get a spike when you ovulate, then a tiny dip and then a rise in temperature and if you are pregnant it stays higher and if not it drops the day before your period starts.

The rises and falls are tiny though - roughly 36.4+ after ovulation and going up to 36.8 ish....so not even a whole degree different.

I tracked it with my last ttc and it was fascinating!
