How long after coming off the pill did you get your first natural period?

Hey

I have been on the pill for over 10 years and have just recently come off (I am 26). Me and my husband are looking to conceive.
After I stopped the pill I had my normal withdrawal bleed and since then have not had my period yet. It has been 6 weeks since the first day of my withdrawal bleed.
I was just wondering how long it took for others to get their first period after being on the pill? I have taken a pregnancy test this morning with a negative result so have ruled out that as a possibility.

After being on the pill for so long I just want to know my body is normal haha!

This time I took my last pill on 5th August, didn't get a withdrawal bleed and had my first period on 1st September. I was on Zelleta

74 days for me... it felt like a lifetime! 😂

9 months. But I’d been on it for close to 20 years.

I was on the pill for 15 years, came off and got pregnant straight away.

Wow such a wide range of answers it's so funny how some take a while and others go back to normal straight away!

Still nothing - why is this so hard to be patient for?! Feels like forever. I have never wanted a period so bad in my life 😂

I came off the pill (Femodene) on August 1st , had my withdrawal bleed 5th-9th and didn't start my period until this morning. I have never been so happy to see it.

I was on pill for 15 years, 49 days for me to get my first period and they settled to 33 days after that. I'm on cycle 13 of ttc so no luck for me just yet! X

Took me about 6 weeks. Took my sister about 9 weeks

It took me around 6 weeks after coming off my pill in Feb / March after 9 years, I'm 25 😊 back on a regular 27-28 day cycle, but my periods seem SO much shorter and lighter... So I'm not sure if my body is still settling down.. Month 6 of TTC 😁 albeit, we're not probably trying as hard as we could 😂

I didn't get one. I just got stuck into tracking ov. I got my bfp then. Wouldve been 34 day cycle though

I came off mini pill (Cerazette) and it took 5 weeks for first bleed. Next 2 periods have both been 28 days later. I was on Microgynon for about 16 years then Cerazette for 1 year (fibroid-related). Good luck and sending patience!

I was also on the pill for about 10 years. I came off on the 1st of May and had a natural bleed on 1st August. Didn't have any withdrawal at all!

I came off in January after 5/6 years, had a weird sort of small withdrawal bleed in May, and a proper period in June. I was panicked that people seemed to be getting back to normal a lot quicker than me! But all sorted now.

Just over 6 months, I went to the doctors and was told they wouldn’t look into it until after 6 months had passed. It then took a further 6 months to settle into a regular cycle. I was on the pill for about 20 years though!

Hiya, im in the same boat as you OP, but a little before.

Took last pill 23rd August, had a 5 day withdrawal bleed as normal... Now its the waiting game!

As per my 'pill calculations' I would be due this weekend, but I'm not expecting it to be that easy. (Either that or im pregnant🤣 🤞🏼)

I was on it 12 years and it took me 5 weeks.

I didn't get a period. 3 days after I stopped taking the pill I was pregnant.
