Nausea at 4DPO

I’m only 4DPO. Absolutely not expecting any symptoms this early. Didn’t get nausea with #1 till week 4. But since 4am today I’ve had terrible nausea. Triggered by smelling coffee. It only goes if I lie down and stay completely still.

I had low central tummy pain and heaviness yesterday and kind of assumed I’d got my ovulation date wrong and that it must have been happening yesterday.

Anyway, please talk me down. Pregnancy related nausea 4DPO isn’t actually possible is it.

My head is now obsessing.

Hey OP.

Is there any chance you could have Ovulated early?

I think the only way you would know is to take a test? But if you're really only at 4dpo than I would wait it out till at least af I'd due. Which I know is alot harder said than done.

Good Luck OP

Even if I ovulated early, the earliest date we could have conceived was 4 days ago because we didn’t get ‘down to business’ till then (the day I thought I was ovulating this month).

So it’s not possible is it.

Must. Think. Logically.

I’ve had nausea and sickness from day 7DPO! I’m due on on Thursday hoping for a BFP !

Fingers crossed for you

Oh blimey!

Everything I’m reading online suggests, if pregnant, the nausea must be cause by extra high levels of HCG which sometimes means twins.

🤪

@NLouise123

Thank you for replying!

Sorry, so self absorbed in my nausea I didn’t even practice basic manners!

Good luck to us!

And how freaky if this means BFP!!

I had nausea within days of conceiving, very early on. Also car sickness (just nausea not vomiting). That and heightened sense of smell were my first symptoms before I knew I was PG. Mine was a singleton tho not twins

Bubsworth · 08/09/2019 20:06

*is a singleton

Hi I have had nausea too and I m 4 or 5dpo. But I think it might be pregnancy vitamins I m taking. It keeps coming and going!

cavycavy · 08/09/2019 20:19

Wow that’s amazing @bubsworth

(And a relief to hear only one!!)

It actually feels very much like travel sickness. Swim my head with it

I’ve laid down long enough (after putting #1 to bed and having to handover responsibility to DH) that it’s starting to ease a bit.

Hi, were you pregnant? I’m having the same.. like car sickness, also heartburn

ivyninja · 11/05/2020 03:57

Unfortunately pregnancy symptoms can be caused by progesterone, which peaks halfway through your luteal phase, whether or not you are pregnant.

Implantation happens at the earliest at 6 DPO, so not possible to get any pregnancy symptoms before then.

Unless you miscalculated O and are further along than you thought?

Good luck either way!

Just realised this is old, doh, sorry!!
